The Collingswood Education Association is excited to be back to in-person learning and we hope that this trend continues! To help us achieve this goal the Collingswood School District, the Collingswood Business Association, and the New Jersey Department of Health have partnered with the CEA to host a pop-up vaccination event. Students ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine (parental permission needed for those 12-17 years old); latest numbers illustrate that 76% of our Collingswood youth ages 12 -18 have been vaccinated. While this is a great start, this pop-up vaccination event gives us the opportunity to reach 100%!
Join us at our #BetterTogether event on October 1, 2021! Come out to cheer on the Collingswood Panthers AND get vaccinated! All those that receive their vaccine that night will be guests of the Collingswood Education Association and receive FREE admission into the game. Those that get vaccinated that night will receive $25 in Collingswood Cash, sponsored by the Collingswood Commission’s COVID Recovery Committee. Collingswood Cash can be used at most retailers in town including hair salons and barbers, pizza shops, some convenience stores, and specialty shops. Any individual who receives their vaccination on October 1st will be provided with the Collingswood Cash that evening as well as the information of how to obtain their second dose of the vaccine.
Vaccinations (choice of: Moderna, Pfizer, or J & J) will take place 6-8PM in the CHS cafeteria. The football game starts @ 7PM on the CHS field.
Bring your friends, bring your neighbors from surrounding areas - participants do not have to be limited to just Collingswood residents! Various giveaways and discounted admission opportunities will be available from the Collingswood Education Association. Remember we are all #BetterTogether!
